Mythology tells that the beautiful and innocent Persephone, Persephone, was walking happily, distracted and innocent through a beautiful meadow when suddenly, one day, the earth opened and the unconscious Persephone was captured by Hades, the god of the Underworld, falling into the abyss and reducing her fate to living far away from her home and Demeter, her mother, from everything that was beautiful and safe for her. From that moment on, Persephone's destiny was to live alone and imprisoned in the Underworld with Hades, her guardian. Together with him, paradoxically also began the journey to her freedom, the maiden had to stay there for a long time until she finally grew up, became master of herself and transformed herself into Queen Persephone.
We have all, to a greater or lesser extent, felt at some time that the ground was opening up and we were plunging into the abyss, that descent may have been very deep, sometimes we have not been able to see the bottom and we have felt totally lost. At that moment the journey begins and that is the Hero's journey, the journey towards life, the new life, the return home, to your true Self, to the heart; in other words, the process of individuation as Carl Gustav Jung calls it. With the passage of time, if we have not had a nurturing childhood, which although we do not know it happens very rarely, because the complexity of the human being usually desires something more, ... in any case, if we have not made our shadow conscious, and identified it, we have not been able to strengthen our Self, and we find ourselves lost in our own Underworld, lost in ourselves.
Then we feel that Hades has trapped us, whether in the guise of a job that frustrates us, a partner that we feel limits us, children that are difficult for us, absent parents, a traumatic experience, or any aspect of ourselves that we reject. In reality Hades is ourselves, that part of our shadow and our experiences that we don't want to look at or name... Hades is the wound and/or the trigger of the wound that repeats itself over time, but if we don't look at it, we won't be able to find our way back home, to ourselves. In short, capable of doing and being what we have come to do, what we want to do, in love and honesty with life, with ourselves. If you are ready to embark on the journey, the journey that I myself have travelled, you have already done the most difficult part. I am happy to offer you my accompaniment on your journey through different methodologies, techniques and therapies.
